The center has 2 conference rooms, 2 computer labs with a seating capacity of 30 students per lab. The labs can be opened to accommodate 60 students. The center also houses a TV studio from which the morning show is broadcast daily. Students in Kindergarten through 8th grade are taught Information Literacy Skills through a research based media program that utilizes a process model of inquiry to explore both print and non-print sources. The media specialist and one assistant nurture the joy of reading through story time presentations and book talks. The print collection houses 13,000 items. St. Lawrence students are required to obtain a public library card. They are taught how to access online library resources at the county and state level during media classes.
