As 2022 comes to an end, we thank you for your kindness and support.
This year, for Giving Tuesday, please consider donating to St. Lawrence Catholic School through the annual Parents’ Club Gala – our 2023 GIVING GALA. We are celebrating 61 years of excellence in Catholic education, and we can only continue to do so because of YOU!
Our founding Pastor, Msgr. Laurence E. Higgins, had a deep belief in the Catholic faith, the need for Catholic education in our community, and the desire to share his love for Christ. Let’s keep that mission alive and together we can make a difference in the lives of our children and in the future of our school. Msgr. Higgins knew the benefits of a Catholic education being a unique, learning experience because it nurtures the mind, body, and spirit. All three are necessary for a happy, healthy, and balanced life.
St. Lawrence Catholic School provides our students the invaluable opportunity to expand their knowledge, explore their passions, create community, strengthen their sense of self, and come to know God all in one place. Msgr. Higgins knew that with the help of the good people of St. Lawrence and our community, he could fulfill that dream.
During this time of Thanksgiving, would you consider donating towards our annual school Gala? This year our focus is to raise funds for much needed safety and security upgrades.
We have entered a world where safety and security are prominent. We need our students to be protected and feel safe. Teachers deserve an environment where they can focus on delivering educational excellence. Promoting school safety creates an open space for students to explore, learn and grow. Ultimately, everyone wants their school to be safe and the good news is that school security technology has evolved in a way that is much more responsive. Implementing more school security measures will increase peace of mind for our students, staff, and parents.
It is with the support of the greater community that St. Lawrence Catholic School is still here today, developing the spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, and creative qualities of faith-filled citizens.
