WHAT IS THE COST OF TUITION?
Tuition Rates are calculated based on Catholic Parish affiliation as follows: ·
- Discount Rate for Active/Practicing St. Lawrence Catholic Parishioners: Families must be registered, active, practicing members of St. Lawrence Catholic Parish for six (6) months prior to student enrollment. Each family’s Mass attendance will be reviewed through their use of their weekly offertory envelope. Tuition rate may be adjusted from the Full Tuition Rate after 6 months based upon Mass attendance.
- Families belonging to another Catholic Parish in the Diocese of St. Petersburg must provide a letter from their Pastor, prior to student enrollment, stating they are active members in good standing before receiving the Discount Tuition Rate.
- Full Tuition Rate: Families who are Non-Catholic or not members of St. Lawrence or another Catholic Parish prior to student enrollment.

St. Lawrence students learn to serve God and others through community service, develop academic excellence with rigorous curriculum and strive to become life-long learners.
WHERE DO YOUR GRADUATES GO?
St. Lawrence prepares all students for academic success through primary, elementary and middle school grade levels. At graduation, more than 90% of our students attend Jesuit High School, Academy of the Holy Names or Tampa Catholic High School. Students are also accepted to other Preparatory High Schools or IB Programs.
WHAT MAKES ST. LAWRENCE STAND OUT FROM OTHER SCHOOLS?
St. Lawrence Catholic School was established in 1961. As a parish school, traditions of academic excellence in Catholic education continue as established by its founders. Standardized testing consistently meets or exceeds state and national standards. Students are challenged individually to reach academic excellence consistent with their abilities and talents.
WILL THE CATHOLIC FAITH BE A PRIORITY IN MY CHILD’S EDUCATION?
St. Lawrence Catholic School provides a Christ-centered environment in which the Gospel message is integrated throughout the curriculum at all levels. Catholic faith formation and sacramental preparation is an integral part of our school curriculum. Student prayer life includes participating in the celebration of weekly Mass, community service and retreat.
IS AFTER-SCHOOL CARE OFFERED?
Yes, St. Lawrence offers a Morning Care program (7:00 – 7:30 AM before school) and Extended Day Program (3:30 – 6:00 PM after school).
WHAT EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES ARE OFFERED?
St. Lawrence offers a variety of sports and extracurricular activities to students. School sponsored sports for Grades 5 – 8 include Soccer, Basketball, Flag Football, Track & Field, and Volleyball. In addition, our Parish Youth Athletic Program (YAP) for elementary students in PK – Grade 4 offers soccer, football, lacrosse, basketball, and cheerleading. Extracurricular activities include STREAM, Art, and Music.
IS TUITION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE?
To be considered for Financial Assistance, families must apply with Step Up for Students at www.stepupforstudents.org and FACTS Tuition Management at https://online.factsmgt.com/aid. Applications must be completed between January 1 and March 31.
HOW CAN PARENTS BE INVOLVED AT ST. LAWRENCE?
Parents are the primary and principal educators of their children and at St. Lawrence Catholic School and all are members of the Parents’ Club. Families pledge to contribute their time, talent, and treasure by active volunteer participation and fundraising events.
